The folks here at Fine Books have several methods: Jeremy Dibbell has been using LibraryThing for ten years; Nate Pedersen recommends the versatility of Google Sheets; and Barbara Basbanes Richter suggests Collectival, a recently launched program created by antiquarian booksellers.
